Pros and cons of Bandcamp app for iPhone and iPad

Bandcamp app good for

I love how Bandcamp makes it easy to discover new and local artists! However, it can be difficult to find exactly what youre looking for, at times. For example, I want to look at the artists Im following, but its confusing to figure that out.
I LOVE that I can discover new music and listen to my purchases anytime, anyplace
To the people that enjoy and support music from your favorite band that no one knows about, this app is great. You can search and stream bands and all the albums you purchase on your fan account gets saved on the app for on the go listening without putting it in your music. Just a great app.
While it would be cool in the future to buy and browse music from the app, i love the access i gain and the local music cache.
Would be nice to be able to purchase digital albums from the app. Other than that no complaints.
It would be great to have more control over the music stored in the device. Just to switch albums on and off would be really helpful. Currently, its a complete mystery how this system works.

Some bad moments

There is no way to scrub through anything while my phone is locked. It will show you that it is playing, but you cant move through the track. Also, I want to donate to a podcast and download it, but I dont see any where to actually get it. I used the add to wish list button, but I dont see anywhere to view my wish list.
I bought a download so that I could use the music independent of internet access. Bandcamp setup was very difficult, contradictory instructions, did not recognize my email address or password, doesnt work on ipad, didnt work on iPhone, now Im using my computer, and it appears to have downloaded, but not sure since I cannot locate the actual download. Overall, I warn against using this app. Better off to use Spotify or other apps that actually function properly. Maybe try this again in a year or so, once the bugs are worked out.
LOVE Bandcamp, and using the app was so convenient, but I use it primarily on an iPad, no problems whatsoever up until now, but the latest update broke it completely, Completely unusable on an iPad 3. Does not orient properly if you rotate the device, and it doesnt even load properly at iPhone small screen size, the vertical layout loads horizontally. Try to navigate within the app and things just start happening at random, no connection between where youre touching and what happens. Another example of taking a perfectly good app and breaking it with an update. Will remove this review if or when this gets fixed.
Ive loved band camp for two years. Then updates "improved" it for the absolute worst. Whats even worse is that I have invested in the music and without the glitchy app, I have nothing to show for it. App force stops, will NOT play on shuffle, replays from a certain point after the song ends, etc. when I contacted IT/help/wtfe the representative told me that "no one else had had that problem and to reinstall the app." This was the level of concern they showed for it. Its pathetic and it either needs to be fixed or people deserve some other format to own the purchased music.
Just terrible. You cant search for or play music you havent already purchased within the app??! Whats the point?? Absolutely useless.
Would be a great app if you could use it to search/explore new music. Website is waaaay better than the app.
